About the Password Generator

Reused passwords are the single most common cause of account compromise. This generator produces random strings from your browser's cryptographic random source, with control over length and which character groups are included, plus an estimate of how much entropy the result carries.

Longer is better than more complicated. A twenty-character password using only letters is far stronger than an eight-character one full of symbols, because length increases the search space fastest.

How to use the Password Generator
